Privacy Policy

Effective July 21, 2026 · Last updated July 21, 2026

This policy explains how Orygn LLC, the Texas company that operates GradeSlate ("GradeSlate," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information. It covers the website at gradeslate.com and the GradeSlate Discord server.

The short version. This website has no accounts, no login, no signup, no contact form, and no input fields of any kind. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We collect nothing from you on this website. The only information we see is what Discord shows us about members of our own server. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising, and we do not use tracking pixels.

01Who We Are

GradeSlate is operated by Orygn LLC, a Texas limited liability company. For anything in this policy you can reach us at privacy@gradeslate.com. Our postal address is in Section 13.

02What the Website Collects

Nothing. The GradeSlate website does not collect personal information from you. There are no accounts, no login, no signup, no contact form, and no input fields of any kind, so there is nowhere for you to give us information even if you wanted to.

We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser, including local storage and session storage. We run no analytics on this website. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no session recording, and no fingerprinting.

One thing we will not paper over. The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel necessarily receives your request in order to send you the page, and that request includes your network address as a matter of how the internet works. We do not receive that information, we do not store it, and we have no analytics product reading it. Vercel handles it as our hosting provider under its own privacy notice, at vercel.com/legal/privacy-notice.

The only outbound link on this website is an invitation to our Discord server. Everything we know about a member, we know because they joined that server, which Section 3 explains.

03What We See in Our Discord Server

GradeSlate is delivered through a Discord server that we operate. Discord is a separate company with its own privacy policy and its own terms, and your Discord account belongs to your relationship with Discord, not with us.

We operate a Discord application.Alongside the server itself we run a Discord bot, named GradeSlate, that posts the board and manages roles. It connects to Discord's API and, with the permissions Discord grants it, it can read the server's member list, the content of messages in channels it can see, and member presence. We tell you this because it is a more active thing than simply looking at a screen, and you should know what it can reach rather than have it described as if we were only reading the app.

Between the server and that application, the information available to us includes:

  • Your Discord username and display name
  • Your Discord user ID and avatar
  • The date you joined the server
  • The roles you hold in the server
  • Messages, reactions and attachments you post in channels we can see
  • Whether you accepted the server rules and our Terms, and when

We use this only to run the community and deliver picks: to post boards, to grant and remove roles, to answer questions, to moderate, and to enforce our Terms. The application does not read your direct messages, and it has no access to any server other than ours. We do not sell it and we do not advertise with it.

An important practical point: most of this information lives in Discord's systems, not in ours. We view it through Discord. We do not run our own copy of the server's message history. That shapes what we can do when you ask us to delete something, which Section 7 explains honestly.

04How We Use Information

  • To operate the Discord server and publish the daily board
  • To grant, change and remove roles and access
  • To answer questions and provide support when you contact us
  • To moderate the community and enforce our Terms
  • To comply with law, and to protect our rights, our members, and the service

We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run behavioural advertising, and we do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.

05How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have no advertising pixels, no data brokers, and no ad networks.

The parties involved are:

  • Discord, which hosts the server and processes everything you do there under its own privacy policy.
  • Vercel, which hosts the website. It receives requests in order to serve pages, as described in Section 2. We do not send it any information about you.
  • Server listing and discovery services. Our Discord server is listed on public server directories so that people can find it. Their bots are members of our server, currently DISBOARD, Discadia, Top.gg, DiscordServers.io and DS.ME. Discord gives them the server information and member activity that any member of the server can see, and if you use one of their commands, that service receives what your command sends it. Each handles that under its own privacy policy. We do not send them member information ourselves, and they send us nothing about you.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, if we need to protect our rights or someone's safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will say so before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

06Cookies, Do Not Track, and Third-Party Tracking

Cookies. This website sets no cookies. It stores nothing in your browser, and it runs no analytics.

Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal, and some send a Global Privacy Control signal. There is no common industry standard for how a website should respond to them. This website does not respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We tell you that so you can make an informed choice. Because we set no cookies and create no persistent identifier, there is no cross-site tracking here for such a signal to switch off.

Third-party tracking across sites. We do not allow any third party to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites through this website.

07Your Choices and Requests

Reviewing or changing what we hold. Email privacy@gradeslate.com from an address you control, or message us in the server, and tell us your Discord username. We will tell you what we can see about you and correct anything that is wrong.

Deletion, and what we can honestly promise. You can ask us to remove you from the server, and we will. We will delete records we keep ourselves, such as role assignments and notes, except for the minimal enforcement and acceptance records described in Section 8.

What we cannotdo is reach into Discord and erase your account or your entire message history from Discord's systems, because that data is Discord's and your account is yours. We can delete individual messages in our server on request, and we will. For your Discord account itself, and for data Discord holds about you, use Discord's own privacy controls and contact Discord directly.

Leaving. You can leave the server at any time, which stops any further information reaching us.

We will not treat you differently for making any request under this section.

08Data Retention

We retain nothing from your visit to this website, because we collect nothing from it.

Information in the Discord server is retained by Discord under its own practices for as long as the server and your account exist. Records we keep ourselves are kept only as long as we need them to run the service, and we delete them when we no longer need them or when you ask us to.

Two exceptions we want to be straight about. We may keep a minimal record of a removal or a ban, including the reason for it, for as long as we need it to enforce our Terms and keep the server safe. We may also keep a record that you accepted our Terms, and when. We keep anything else the law requires us to keep.

09How We Protect Information

We keep the surface small on purpose. The website holds no accounts, no passwords and no payment details, which is the most effective protection available: information that is never collected cannot be breached.

Access to the server's moderation tools is limited to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Children

GradeSlate is for adults. You must be at least 18, and at least 21 where that is the minimum age for sports wagering, as our Terms explain. The website is a general audience site, it has no accounts and no forms, and it collects nothing from any visitor of any age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Discord sets its own minimum age and enforces it. If we learn that someone under 13 is in our server, we will remove them and delete information we hold about them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email privacy@gradeslate.com and we will act on it.

11Third-Party Sites and Services

Our website and our server link to third parties, including Discord and sportsbook websites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. When you follow a link, that site's policy governs, not ours.

12Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and the revised policy takes effect on the date shown.

If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will give notice before it takes effect by posting an announcement in the GradeSlate Discord server and by updating the effective date on this page. We encourage you to check this page from time to time.
